Yesterday was our first ever 'Bring a Friend to Cheer Day'!
We all invited friends, male or female, to come to our practice and learn some cheer leading basics. We all had a blast! We had mostly boys come out this time, but we still had a very productive practice. We had two stunt groups learning and working on basics.. After about forty-five minutes everyone was getting the hang of things, and starting to do more advanced stunts. This was the first time any of these boys had stunted, and they did amazing! If you would like to participate next time, we will be holding another 'Bring a Friend to Cheer Day' sometime in January. Details will be posted as soon as we set the date. :)

in between?
It's that time of year, where football season has ended and basketball season is not quite here. So its kind of of break time for the cheerleaders! Time for some to recover from injury and some to catch up on some sleep! :) So right now there isn't a whole lot going on. :)

BasketBall Season
it's almost that time of year...Basketball season. I enjoy basketball season so much more than football season. it seems like everyone gets more involved with the game. The crowd actually participates with us which is nice, because football season its hard for people even to hear us. I don't know if we are going to have any cheer competition at any of the games since we switched divisions but we'll see :)
I hope we get a huge crowd out at our games this year! hope to see you There <3

Bittersweet!
The homecoming game was amazing! Many alumni showed up and cheered, danced, and stunted with us. It was a very exciting time and we loved seeing all the old cheerleaders and catching up. The crowd seemed to enjoy all the extra cheerleaders too. :)
Our last football game of the season is on Friday! Football season is a lot of work, but the thrill of standing and cheering on the sidelines makes up for it! The game is away, in Lindsay. This is the only away game we've gone to this season, due to there not being available space on the buses. We're very excited to go and cheer on our boys as they play they're last game!

Homecoming Week
Homecoming week is one of the biggest weeks for cheer.& The homecoming theme is Circus! We always plan the best of the best routine for the Homecoming Rally. But this year? It came at us really fast this year, which makes this one of the most stressful weeks of the whole school year. But on a serious note, this friday, the homecoming game is our last home game. So this is the last game for cheer. I'm ready for basketball season now!
